Shooting a portrait is so much more than just taking a picture of someone. Basically it comes down to summarising the personality, the attitude, the looks and som much more of one person in just one picture. As a photographer, you try to understand who’s in front of your lens. You pause the time, take a mental snapshot. Who’s the¬†person behind that face? What’s this person like? You let it all sink in. Then the magic starts. I arrange the lights, set a mood and I press the button.
